ARE YOUR SERVICES COVERED BY MY INSURANCE?

The easiest and safest answer from our vantage point is: "maybe, but probably not." Insurance benefits in mental healthcare don't tend to fully cover the thorough and comprehensive type of assessments that Megalithic Psychology, Inc. performs. Insurance benefits commonly cover the 'minimum necessary' to confirm a diagnosis. We provide an invoice ("super bill") with all the necessary information for you to submit for reimbursement.

We are often asked what "codes" we use on our invoices--and recommend you instead ask your insurance company what codes they intend to cover (and what their reimbursement rate is, for how many hours, etc.) under your benefits package. Typical codes include but are not limited to: 90791a, 96132, 19133, 96136, 19137.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT, AND WHAT ARE YOUR WAIT TIMES AND REPORT TURN AROUND TIMES?

Megalithic Psychology, Inc. specifically prides itself on being able to provide timelines far better than the industry standard. While many practices are comfortable with timelines using words like "months"--we can complete your assessment in >1 month. We work tirelessly during evenings and weekends to ensure we live up to our reputation of delivering results sooner than you would expect them.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

We offer a free 5 (five) minute consultation to fully explain the logistics of the proposed assessment after you have reviewed the video/website. This conversation is intended to answer questions you may have about our protocols. We believe in both fee/pricing transparency, as well as transparency with regards to the exact protocol we would use to conduct your assessment.
